Heather Ezell, Sculptor—A native of Dallas and graduate of Arts Magnet at Booker T. Washington, creates works in marble which introduce her audience to the grace she finds in everyday details.
“Carving marble is my serenity. The process engages all of my capabilities in concert. It enables me to expose the grace I find in everyday details. I prefer the human form for its fluid beauty and its range of emotional experiences expressed in a single gesture. Each piece is a collection of meandering vignettes making up a single moment. One which I hope inspires reflection.”
